About Jim Visser...

Jim started his singing career back when he was nineteen years old. He sang with a local contemporary group singing the bass part for sixteen years.

Jim felt God calling him to a different style of singing and this is when he started to pursue singing southern gospel music in a quartet. Jim took a job singing the lead part for a group out of southern Ohio known as the Hallmark Quartet. After a short time with this quartet, Jim strongly felt God calling him to start his own quartet and this was the beginning for the Faithful Journey Quartet. Jim sang the lead part and managed Faithful Journey for eight years.

God continued to work in Jim’s heart and he felt led to move into a solo ministry which allowed him the flexibility to sing in many different states. Jim has been involved in the National Quartet Convention in Pigeon Forge for the past five years and will be at “Singing in the Sun” in Myrtle Beach this year.

Jim has been married to his bride Loretta for thirty-five years. They have two married children and four grandchildren and another expected in 2024.
